Anime Babes: Anime Babes is a project started by Darklight Knight
and KV. The goal of this project is to assemble and publish skins that can be used on the Hottie, Faerie, and Frei models. An emphasis will always be placed on including at least one skin portraying an anime type babe in each release.

In order to achieve this goal DLK and KV will be creating new skins which are designed to fit all 3 models. Additionally we will surf the web for high quality skins which fit these models. Credit will always be given to the respective authors of any skins we include in a pack. The original readme files for any skin we find/modify will always be included in each pack if possible.

If you want to contibute to an the next anime babes pack please e-mail: williamskv@excite.com. Skins must fit the Hottie or Faerie or Frei models. Any skin which does not meet this requirement will be automatically rejected. If your skin does fit we won't guarantee your submission will get into a pack but we will consider it!

Skins: Anime Babes 1 is a skin pack featuring a set of 11 skins. Six of the skins are centered around Armitage the Third. The skins portray Armitage with and without glasses and come in red, blue and green colors.

Additional skins inclued in this pack are Danger Girl2 (1 skin) and a set of Star Trek Classic skins.(4 skins, red, blue, green and gold.)

The Armitage the Third skins were done by Darklight Knight. All credit concerning these skins should go to him.

The Danger Girl2 skin was created by Matt.("Skull Collector") to fit the Frei model only. This skin easily worked with the hottie model as well but it was necessary to modify the skin somewhat so that it would work with the Faerie Model. Thus we named this new skin Danger Girl2. All credit for this skin however still belongs to the original author. For additional information on the Danger Girl2 skin please read the Danger Girl2 readme file.

The Star Trek Classic skins were done by KV and any credit concerning these skins should go to him.

Skin Notes:	The skins enclosed here don't always completely resemble the characters or ideals they were intended to portray. This is mainly in part due to the limitations of the models themselves, and/or the tools employed by the authors. Nonetheless, we hope that many of you will enjoy them, because as they say on the q2pmp, it's a constant costume party!!

Skin Usage:	Please place these skins in the following folders:

Hottie Model:	Quake2/baseq2/players/Hottie

Faerie Model:	Quake2/baseq2/players/Faerie

Frei Model:	Quake2/baseq2/players/Frei

Models Don't have one of the above listed models but want it? Surf over to the following locations and download the models at:

		q2pmp at http://www.planetquake.com/q2pmp/
				or
		3d bodyshop at http://www.3dbodyshop.com/

The Hottie model will be listed as Fae Faith Hottie or Hottie.

The Faerie Model will be listed as either Faerie or Winter's Faerie.

The Frei model will be listed as Rei Ayanami or Frei.

Installation of
the Models:	It is important you install each model in it's proper folder. If you fail to install the model properly then nobody will be able to see the model and skin you are using and you'll appear as a standard male in the game.

The Winter's Faerie or Faerie Model belongs in the the Quake2/baseq2/players/faerie folder.

The Fae Faith Hottie Model or Hottie belongs in the Quake2/baseq2/players/Hottie folder.

The Rei Ayanami Model or Frei belongs in the
		Quake2/baseq2/players/Frei folder.

Please check your spelling of these folder names carefully and make sure they are correct, because if you misspell a folder name then nobody will see the particular model and skin you are using if the folder is misspelled.

Troubleshooting:

Cant' see/use a particular model that you know you've installed? Or other players can't see you in the model/skin you want to use? Check the following:

Is the skin/model in its proper folder? If not reinstall the model/skin to the proper folder.

Is the model directory spelled correctly? This is a common problem. Check the folder spelling to make sure that the model's name is correctly listed.

Sill can't see or use the model/skin? Check and see if you have misc garbage or stray items at he bottom of your quake2/base2/players folder. (Note: This is extremely important! If you have any stray items which are not in a folder located in your player directory this will cause you to not be able to see or use some or all of your models!! Please delete or move this garbage elsewhere and you should be able to see all of your models again.)

Have you done everything right but the other players still can't see your model/skin? Check with the other players to see if they have the model/skin you are using. If they don't have the model or skin you are using then they won't see you even if you installed everything properly. To resolve this situtation send them a copy of the model/skin you are using.

Still having problems? Show a computer literate friend this file and he may be able to help you!! Otherwise head on over to the q2pmp and/or 3d bodyshop (the urls are listed above) and post a message on their message board asking for help. Some kind soul will probably respond to your message and give you guidance.
